Music is a way for many to relieve themselves of stress. Music for many is a safe place, where one can express their emotions in a healthy way. Whether you enjoy making music or just listening to it. Music can help not only distracting you from Self Injurying, but it also gives you a healthy way to express your feelings. Last summer i was lucky enough to discover an organization called "To Write Love on Her Arms" which fights depression, Addiction and Self Injury with music. This group really inspired me to get involved with SI awairness. So here is a list of bands I have listened to that have helped me cope with SI, please feel free to add more.
